I know what it's like to not have the words for what you're feeling but know something is off. I'm more direct than most listeners — I'll reflect back what I hear, not just nod. How we vet our listeners
Abhi went through Confide's listener selection process — which we designed to be thorough. We turn away more than 80% of applicants.
What we look for: lived experience relevant to what users bring, the ability to sit with discomfort without rushing to fix it, and a genuine reason for doing this work. We don't accept people who just want a side income.
Every listener is supervised and goes through ongoing check-ins. If something isn't working, we hear about it fast.
