Someone to talk to

When you just need someone to talk to.

Not advice. Not a diagnosis. Not a friend who'll make it about them. Just a person who's been through something like it, and who'll actually listen.

Wanting to talk doesn't mean something's wrong

Most of what weighs on us never becomes a crisis. It's the argument that keeps replaying, the job that's quietly draining you, the thing you haven't told anyone because saying it out loud makes it real. You don't need to be falling apart to want someone to hear it.

And sometimes the people closest to you are too close. They have opinions, they worry, they want to fix it. That's love — but it isn't always what you need.

What talking to a Confide listener is like

You book a private voice call with a listener you choose — no camera, and you can switch to typing if saying it out loud feels like too much. They've lived through something like what you're carrying, and they've been trained to listen without steering. They won't hand you a five-step plan. They'll ask good questions, stay with the hard parts, and let you reach your own conclusions.

If you want to come back, you can book the same person again — so next time you're not starting over with a stranger.

Who it's for — and who it isn't

Confide is for the in-between: a hard week, a heavy thought, a stretch where you're not okay but not in danger either.

If you're thinking about hurting yourself, or you don't feel safe right now, please don't wait for a booking. Call iCall on 9152987821 or reach out to AASRA — they're there for exactly this.

I spent years working in HR before I realised I was spending more time helping colleagues through hard moments than anything else. That pivot changed everything. I don't believe in quick fixes or silver linings. I believe in sitting with what's actually there — as long as it takes. I'm best with people who are willing to be a little honest with themselves, even when it's uncomfortable.

I went through a rough career transition a few years ago — left a stable job, fumbled around, found something better. I know what it's like to not have the words for what you're feeling but know something is off. I'm more direct than most listeners — I'll reflect back what I hear, not just nod. If you want someone to push back gently, I'm a good fit.

I lost my mother a few years ago, and I spent a long time afterwards talking to the wrong people — people who wanted to move me through it faster than I could go. That experience is what brought me here. I'm not in a hurry. I won't tell you how to grieve or when to move on. I'll just stay in the room with you for however long you need.

Questions people ask

Is this therapy?

No. Our listeners are trained peers, not therapists or psychiatrists — they don't diagnose or treat anything. If what you're carrying needs clinical care, a good listener will tell you so honestly.

Who are the listeners?

Real people who've been through things like breakups, burnout, loss and family pressure — and through our training. We turn away most people who apply.

What do I even talk about?

Whatever's on your mind. Some people arrive with one specific thing; others just know they feel off. Both are fine. Your listener will help you find the thread.

How much does it cost?

You pay per session — no subscription, no packs. Sessions start at ₹199 for 15 minutes, and go up to an hour.

We are not a substitute for psychiatric or psychological treatment. If you're in crisis, contact iCall (9152987821) or AASRA.
